During the construction process of building our A-frame cabin in Colorado, many of you came with questions about the build process. The same questions were being asked over and over. So I developed a course to demystify the ground-up construction process.
About
After a tenure as a financial analyst with large corporations like Disney and Fox Studios, I realized that a traditional 9 to 5 was not for me. My transition into real estate started as an assistant to two fast paced agents in the Los Angeles market. I quickly learned the ropes of negotiating offers and the art of saving a transaction. In 2006 I jumped feet first into the world of real estate investing. Together with my husband, a 3rd generation contractor, we did numerous fix and flips and rental renovations projects (aka BRRRRs). Ultimately this led us to starting our own construction company in 2007. We found that the symbiotic relationship between construction and real estate provided us the ultimate leverage in the world of real estate investment.
In 2022 we completed construction on an A-frame cabin. We successfully refinanced and fully recaptured our entire initial capital investment.
